For *reliable* service on a cost-effective value basis, it is hard to beat Ruta del Sol transport. They have locations in both Salinas and Guayaquil. Two types of service, private car, which costs $40 from an airport pickup/drop off, or $35 from anywhere else. They also have a $10 ride share van, which leaves every hour on the hour, but departs from only a single location (no pick up). The location for the latter in Guayaquil is the Ramada Inn Hotel in "El Centro" district of Guayaquil. HGQ2112 : Thanks for the help, this was the one I was trying to remember. I will need to set something up with them at the end of the month, but definitely not this early. I appreciate your offer to help though, I think Dana will be able to assist me with the reservation, and she will be able to explain where I live for pickup. I've learned an address really doesn't help people much here. Everythiing that I own anymore will fit in a car, but wiill have to be a private car with my luggage.
