Ecuador does neither. They tried it years ago and it was such a fiasco it got scrapped. People just couldnt grasp the concept. They used to go around asking if it was on old time or new time.

Ecuador is on the ecuator and therefore has the same hours of light and dark everyday of the year. No need for daylight savings time.

Never the less, it was attempted back in 1992 as a way to extend the daylight 1 more hour into the evening to make the work day longer and to help ease some of the power problems. Paute was experience a devastating flood and Agoyan could not produce enough power for the country.

Hi Marcia:

Depends on how many mojitos you have had ... and if the tide is going in or out!
Kiss baby C. for me!
