I have applied to The Peace Corp and Albania was one possibility of where I could make a difference. Is there anyone that could share some light on this country that I know very little about? I looked up pictures and was amazed at the beautiful places i discovered.

Yes, I did Edvin. They offered me Albania, my recruiter sent in my paperwork, and then they kept insisting that they wanted to send me to Uganda. Africa (and the Middle East/same category) was the only place I been warned not to go to. I had marked that on my application but it didn't seem to make a difference to them?
I had been very excited about the research I had done on Albania so it is too bad.
