I've been here over a year now, but live in a small province. I own a hotel and try to post regular business related updates on our FB page. But I don't think of aspects of my expat experience that would be of importance to those who choose the more expat dense locations. I am happy to comment on other posts.

It's not really apathy as much as it is everyone just having their own lives at their own rate of speed. I don't typically go to other places just to connect with other expats, I just go to relax and discover a new culture. If I wanted to hang out with expats, I would just save the airfare and stay home. Most of the expats I know are too happy to be away from the stress of it all and the need to do what everyone else is doing.

There are on fact many other expat sites that have been around longer. Be patient, it will happen.
