Hello, my husband, I and our 5 year old son are moving to Croatia (Omis) in August this year. Do any expats have any advice for us in terms of preparation or what to expect. Both I and my husband speak Croatian and have family in Croatia. Regards, Natasa

Lucky you nice place, we are in Zagreb 30 years wife is Croatian Im English, love it know all the ins and outs, happy days, we go to Hvar lots, really like Omis

Been checking out Croatia. Over 1000 islands. Quite quite beautiful. Is this a safe place for a woman to find her lil piece of heaven, economically and geographically? English language common or? Such stunning photos i am seeing. Thanks.

If you look at the United States government website, collation is one of the safest countries in the entire world. I just bought a condo this week and I'm thrilled to live in this country. Anyone under the age of 50 speaks English and they will give you the shirts off their backs. I have a British friend who is selling condos near Makarska. If you are interested you can private message me and I will give you his contact info. Meanwhile I am very busy heading back to the US to clear things out. Best of luck
