Has anyone heard of Dominican Citizenship program?

Applicant, spouse and 2 of their children below the age of 21 years can obtain Dominican citizenship for life. Dual citizenship is permitted. No requirement to actually live in Dominica
Passports valid for 10 years for adults and 5 for children; all passport holders have the right to renew as citizens.
Visa-Free travel to approximately 80 countries including Canada, Switzerland, Schengen Visa countries of Europe, and most British Commonwealth member countries.
Where visa is required, they are relatively easy to obtain.
Tax Free status on foreign income, capital gains, gift, wealth and inheritance tax.

It's really quite amazing.

For anyone thinking about Dominica. I found this information on this site:http://www.easetaxburden.com/investment/require_dominica_economic_citizenship.html

Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about Dominica.

Dear Santiago,

Thank you for the information about Dominica Economic Citizenship Program. Let me add some more, as I have first-hand experience working with investors who apply for this program.

The Schengen area is not visa-free for dominican citizens as yet. The exemption from income tax (both foreign and local) applies only to non-residents of the country, and there's no capital gains, gift, wealth and inheritance tax at all.

Let me just give you these points for the wider view of benefits of obtaining Dominica citizenship. The full list is published on our website.

You get full irrevocable citizenship for your lifetime;
Passport is issued for 10 years and can be easily renewed on expiration;
Good international image of the country extends your investment, entrepreneurial and employment abilities;
Visa-free access to the first world countries, including United Kingdom, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, Singapore and most British Commonwealth countries;
Safe passport for traveling to specific countries;
Extra protection for assets and privacy;
Change of name is legally available;
Better choice of places to live;
No taxes on capital gains, gift, wealth and inheritance;
No taxes on foreign income (unless you reside in Dominica);
No need to renounce your current citizenship(s);
No notification of your home authorities on your new citizenship;
No residence requirements, you are entitled to apply instantly;
The most affordable and quick option of all currently existing economic citizenship programs;
You make investment after your application is approved, not before;
The program is based on the law and is guaranteed by the government;
Dominican passport is insurance for you and your family against unexpected personal, political or economical strife.
