There is an expat population here, and they are situated at various locations on the island. Calibishie and environs is the only place that you will find several of them located. Many of them islandwide have invested in visitor accommodations. You may contact: info@investdominica.dm and see if they have statistics that may help.

I strongly suggest that you visit the island and start with Calibishie: meeting people, asking about other expats they know of in other locations.
