I am Leapo. I am a resident of North Carolina, U.S.A. I am a retired educator. Following my retirement date I have researched, written and field tested a curriculum on the topic of responsible fatherhood. The curriculum was incorporated into the curriculum for youth offenders housed within the juvenile detention centers in several states. I have also written weekly columns for several newspapers. I have served as a non-paid political strategists for candidates at the local, state and federal level. (I choose not to receive payment because I wish to remain INDEPENDENT when providing an opinion. I serve as a volunteer for several nonprofits. I have served on citizen committees advising local and state government agencies. I enjoy traveling. I am considering seeking permission from the Liberian Government to engage in the study of the country's education system and providing a paper to the government that would include recommendations for moving toward a public funded education system.
