Hi Are you looking at buying or renting ? There are US style supermarkets, well stocked. Imported from UK or USA is obviously costly , but cheaper that Europe. Housing is well built and reasonable, varies a lot depending on location. Our internet, phone and TV comes to less than $100 /month USD Elec. and water depends on usage, aircon can be expensive to run, we shower and we are at 440ft above sea level and dont use a/c Allow $150usd for water, gas and elec.

We are looking to come and rent something for a while and see if it is for us....would like something not too far from the water...have visited before and fell in love with the island. If all goes well, we would probably build.
Thanks

We visited in Nov. and realised this was for us, put our beach bungalow on AC up for sale/rented. Weve rented here for a yr. bought a 4x4 nissan and just love the place. Check st.lucia homes website for rentals, they have a big selection, most people here want to rent for a yr. not always easy to get less, unless you pay an awful lot more. Its certainly cheaper here than AC , and so much more to do and see
