Hi Fooey. Your question amazes me. Have you ever been to a country that doesn't have ATM's . Maybe you've never ever travelled anywhere. Every supermarket and bank has an ATM machine.

Thanks for the reply, Ya I've been to some places that only had one or two and you had to hunt to find one. And no I've not traveled to many other countries, yet! :>)
Come to think of it I've had trouble finding one in th U.S once in awhile in a po dunk town here and there.

While staying in Rodney Bay I note there are indeed many ATMs but they would only deliver cash with a UK credit card, not with a UK bank debit card.

I think this is getting fairly common, maybe stops stolen debit cards being used, more security with a credit card. As we spend a lot of time on the island we opened up a multi currency bank account. Very useful.
