Good morning, I have finally arrive in St-Lucie and was wondering where most expat hang out? I'm Canadian and would like to meet other Canadian if possible, but I'm not fussy, maybe a chat over a cold one. I'm staying in Ridney Bay so if anyone is around and free, I'll be here for the next two weeks.

Hi there. Loads of Canadians here at the moment , Rodney bay is where most hang out in the restaurants and bars, no particular place as such , expats are pretty much everywhere . you shouldn't have much problem finding, There's a group of us at Razmataz on wed. PM's sitting outside , mainly Brits but Canadians as well. May see you there if the weather is dry, were outside selling stuff. Enjoy your stay.

I've made a lot of friends both locals and people who are visiting.. just by going to the beach (I tend to go to rodney bay beach). Would have been up for meeting up but I'm coming down in 4 weeks time

The best place for Ex-pats is the Marina on Friday evenings. Saturday evenings are not bad, but Friday is much better. The best Beach on Island is Smugglers Cove, at Cap Maison Resort. Anyone can go there, at any time. There`s a great little bar called The Naked Fisherman.

Another great place is the Landings Happy hour on fri. at 5.30 Marina is great, All depends if youve got transport or not

Thanks, good to know :) Im in my 30s, and am leaving my home and husband behind in the UK to come and volunteer in St Lucia for 6 months :/, as a Speech and Language therapist/ pathologist. Nervous, but excited! Am arriving in 3 weeks, so will let you know when Im over and settled. Looking forward to it.

Hi Laura. Yep, this evening at around 6.00pm at Delirious.
I'm a big guy , will be wearing a white T shirt with the Caribbean printed on it , Carolyn is 5ft7 and blonde. Will keep an eye open on the entrance at around 6ish. Look forward to seeing you. Rob
