Slight alteration to previous post - we are arriving at the end of april to continue property hunt. But we also wanted to check out places where we could be shown how to sail - are there any courses locally, we intend to get a property in the Rodney Bay area.. We are also keen to find out where to get plants locally.
Where do we find information on what we can bring over with us and what are import duties charged on? Would economic citizenship be worthwhile checking out?

Hi. There are some large properties that are already a main apart then multiple small apartments for rental. Airbnb works very well over here.
The St L. Gov is just changing economic citizenship, so I haven't a clue what the deal is. I would SPK to Son at Bluereefrealestate.com about property and let's, he may even know something on the economic citizen side.
Join the yacht club in Rodney bay, they teach kids and I'm sure would arrange for you to learn.
We are leaving on 9 April, so will miss seeing you this time, but my good friend Joey will be around..
He bought a lot of stuff over from the states and will give you a good idea of duties and who to use as a broker, he'll read this and reply I'm sure. Good luck and let us know if there's any way we can help. Robert. Ex Bournemouth
