Hi, my partner and I are looking to retire in around three years time to somewhere sunny, and Saint Lucia is one of the countries we are considering. We currently live in the UK and are planning a 2-3 week visit later in the year. When we retire we want a house with land but within 30 minutes walk to shops, restaurants, bars, the beach and buses. Could anyone please recommend suitable areas for our visit and suggestions on where to stay would be much appreciated.

Hi You need to be in the north of the island , preferably around the Rodney bay area which has everything you need. Prices for property are high, renting is a good way to go check out www.bluereefrealestate.com and i would look on airbnb for somewhere to stay in the bay area. good luck
