Dear Susan: You said you had a lawyer you work with in Salinas but you did not say who it was or provide contact information. I need a lawyer in Salinas for real estate transactions right away. Can you provide contact information. (I don't get any answer from emails to Roberto).

BTW ~ I have an attorney I work with here in Salinas, no problem with that.
Following up on some information Roberto was supposed to forward to me concerning a matter in Guayaquil.

Sorry to hear that. He returns my emails within a day, 2 at the most. Perhaps yours are going into his spam file. He IS a busy man, but he's returned my calls within a few days.

Dr. Morena, attorney at law, has been prompt with me. I wrote him twice, he replied on three different occassions.
I really have no compliants about him and look forward to hopefully using his services.

Roberto Moreno has not returned any of the phone messages or emails I have sent him since the middle of last month.
His cell phone goes directly to voicemail when I call.
Perhaps others will have better luck.

Ah....Punta Blanca isn't any where near GYE. It's about 20 minutes north of Salinas on the ocean.

I have also used Dr Roberto Moreno [email protected]
which works out of Manta and has a 2nd office in Quito. I highly recommend him. He did a bunch of work for me personally. One of his specialties is real estate. He is very helpful and doesn't charge an arm and a leg! Very creditable and honest. His secretary, Yoki is also very helpfull.
I believe Karla in Salinas could also be helpful but I don't think she is a licensed attorney. Or at least she wasn't a year ago. This may have changed now.
If you are still looking for some extra beach property, I own a 1 bdr condo/apartment on the beach (no road between unit and water) in Punta Blanca that I would sell. Contact me if you would like more info.

We are delighted with the work Kara Espinoza is doing for us on our resident visa application. She is in Salinas. not sure if she handles real estate transactions.

Don't know about Salinas, but I recommend Dr. Ricardo Moreno in Manta/Quito. Excellent English, experienced, and very honorable.
