Does anyone know an attorney by the name of Susana, located on 1a Calle, somewhere between 5a Ave & 6a Ave, just across from La Merced (near Hectors)?
If so, I would like some contact information for her. Thanks!

Lafuente, thanks for the information.
All paperwork is at the consulate awaiting authentication. A lawyer has been contacted already.
Also, the information on the Internet isn't completely accurate. I have been in contact with the consulate here and the US embassy there, so I already know the required paperwork.
Again, thanks for the suggestions but I was just looking for an attorney, which someone has already recommended.

this involves more than finding an attorney who speaks english !! much more & unnecessary to speak english. BUT before the attorney can marry you he must publish the edictos de matrimonio in the ¨official¨ newspaper twice. you need an original fotocopy of your birth certificate, authenticated by guate consulate there & authenticated by ministry of foreign relations here ) plus more paperwork. blood tests. can you get all the paperwork together in 1 month ? check out internet for FULL requirements. since he was deported he is not eligible for entry to the us for 10 years. marriage does not lessen the time. good luck

She will be in the office around 9 a.m. Central time. We are in Kentucky. Just tell her that you are the person who needs an attorney for a wedding in July in Guatemala. I have already talked to her about it. She speaks excellent English.
