Nicaragua: seeking low cost long term rental:
I am in a similar situation - single female looking for own modest accommodations. Sounds like if I plan to live alone security is my paramount concern.
Is it safe to live in smaller communities as a single "young" female foreigner.
Nicaragua: Looking for a house to rent in Granada:
I am looking at living in Nicaragua for six month while completing school. I need accommodations that will provide reliable wifi/internet. I was hoping to avoid the larger cities but based on the above conversations- Is it in my best interest to start in Granada? I am looking for a room to rent or private suite, cheap but not dingy. I was hoping maybe to connect/live with a local or someone who has been living locally for first month to get the lay of the land but ultimately get out of the big city.
Looking for advice
