Argentina: Moving to Cordoba:

I am American. My amogovio is a permanent resident of Argentina, now living in US. We are planning to move to Cordoba together next year. What are my options as an American for residency there? If I do not do anything official, do I just leave and return every 6 months as a tourist? If we marry, would I be better off legally in Argentina? Are there other American expats in Cordoba? I am not the original questioner, but I have the same question! I am 55, am planning to move to Argentina this time next year, with my amogovio. He is a permanent resident of Argentina, who own property. Would we be better off married than single? That's the first question. More questions to come.
