Qatar: Prospective employer:

Hello I applied for a job in Doha with a leading listed Qatari company. I got through the initial screening with the Agent and a week later got a call from them saying the client wants to conduct the first interview as the position is urgent. This was back in early August. The interview date was shifted 3 times and eventually did not take place. Reasons such as post ramadaan holidays to client contact being on leave etc were given. Is this normal in Qatar????? I have not been told that the job is off which gives me hope that things could still work out. Can someone please give me some feedback/guidance. Will be appreciated. Thank you
