Vietnam: international phone calls:

Hi all, I needs some help re ma king international phone calls by landline or cell phone, I need to contact my bank by phone and am clueless as to how I do so. I have downloaded skype app but have no clue where to buy credit to activate it, do not wish to use online credit transaction to do so. apparently no international call opertators in Nam to connect me for collect call and Im at a loss on options avaiable for such communications. And yes, I am a fossilCan someone give me a heads up.

Vietnam: Gardening:

Im looking for a good gardening supply outlet in Nha Trang , plants I find aplenty but what I dont find is a good range of potting mixes fertilizers . seed trays etc. Im hoping to set up a small hydroponic garden at home and would rather buy the right stuff than make it all from scratch.

Cant recommend anyone but It's not a particularly difficult task, you could easily do it yourself. only tool required is a screw driver and a writable disc . Google installing an ssd and you'll find all you you need both video and written instructions.

Vietnam: need advice on visa at border.:

I need to obtain new Vietnamese visa 90 day tourist , and want to do so at border to avoid costs in Cambodia, on bus from HCMC . Im told its a simple process but have no idea what is entailed, how or where to obtain application nor time frame of process. Im stony broke and keen to get legal and get back to NT asap. Any one done this often enough to know the ropes?

Im a kiwi superannuitant resident in Nha Trang and require the services of someone to witness my signature on a document that attests to my continued existance. Every 3 months I must advise the NZ govt of any changes to my location, marital status and health, and have the some Bod with a rubber stamp witness my signature and stamp the thing to show geographic location. A lawyer has asked for $100 to do so, the local ward office has proven incapable of comprehending the document (transl. to tieng viet) and simply refused , and local cop has asked for every document in my possesion and questioned the data in most of them without as yet accepting the simple task of witnessing and signing for me. Can anyone offer a glimmer of hope? Im not seeking a guarantor for a loan here, just a simple , " Yep, that's you alright mate,there ya go "
