Bulgaria: Moving with children:

Hi, probably I can help with couple of advises. I am Bulgarian living in US for the last 30 years bur still visiting and have relatives there. I am open to the World and like to go and live for 3-6 months in a different country but my preferences are Italy and other Mediterranean countries. I have a niece in Bulgaria, she is a teacher in a school for English speaking kids in Sofia. She should know much better about schools etc. , have a friend, retired English teacher, also., and I will tell you my personal opinion about living in Bulgaria. My niece name is Mira, and the email address is mira_traicheva@abv.bg, or Skype is mira.traichev. I will mail her that you have her address and you can contact her. And again for the little picturesque Bulgaria, - 1,) spend first just couple of months to see overall the life. 2.) have a car to drive around but be careful - roads are no good, police is corrupt, NEVER stop on the road (there are cases of gypsies robberies!), I don't mean to scare you but this is a reality!, 3.) I will recommend Veliko Tarnovo, since is a small clean university town, my brother still lives there, Sofia is larger but pretty Oriental city. So, good Luck and we can stay in touch if you need more info, Best, Gina, You can find me on www.e-travelBG.com, or koopublishing@gmail.com

Italy: Summer open classical concerts:

We'll be Summer 2017 in Italy for couple of months especially for their classical concerts. I did a research and so far found that if we settle around Verona we'll be able to travel North and South and to visit the summer events. Appreciate all your suggestions! Gina and Dimitri

Thailand: US Madicare:

Is US Medicare acceptable already in Thailand? I red and article years ago that is on its way to be accepted.

Italy: Florence Agency recommendation for long term furnished apt. rental:

This might help me. Do I have a special permit to live for approximately three months in Italy? I'll be just tourist, not working. Gina

Italy: Long term house exchange:

Hi, I am looking for a "long" term house exchange - 3-6 months, for, me and my husband, we are in our mid 60. Do you know somebody that is willing to do this? Looking for not now but probably 2017-2018. We are kind of "experienced" exchangers since we exchanged for the last five years, sometimes for a week, or two, sometimes couple of days, simultaneously or not. This way, we traveled the World and made lots of friends! Our place to exchange is in Winter Springs, North Orlando, FL, US. Best, Gina
