Pakistan: Applying for NICOP at Birmingham Consulate:

Hi All, I need to apply for NICOP of my new born baby and then subsequently for her Pakistani Passport as we need to travel to Pakistan at the end of December, I called up High commission in London and they say next available appointment is in January, which doesn't work for me, next option for me is to go to Birmingham Consulate as they do walk in appointments, but the guy at the high commission said that they may not accept your application as you don't live in that area...but you can give it a try....I called up the Consulate number multiple times but no one is picking up....I don't want to travel 150 miles and find out that they don't take applications for people living in the London area...so has someone got any info on that? would Birmingham consulate accept my NICOP application? Please let me know as it's urgent. Thanks in advance. Syed
