South Africa: 22 yr old pilot for adventure:

Hi: I'm 22 years old. I have a South African girlfriend. She is returning to SA in December '05. She'll be leaving the states in June/July time frame for a 6 month job in england. I would like to go with her. I don't have that much college (one year) and am working towards a career as a proffesional pilot. I'm trying to find flight schools to convert my license and have a flying job. Any ideas? Don't know where to begin
