Egypt: life cost in Cairo and District:

Dear all, A french pharmaceuticals compagny offers to me a local contract in Cairo and my girlfriend (wife before being in Egypte) will join me to live togther (2 adults). She speaks arabic, english and french. The company offers 7000 LE / month + the housing, transport from the appartement to the office (and I don't know yet for the life cover insurance and retirement in France or a private one). How can we live with 7000 LE in Cairo ? Moreover, I have to choose between Maadi and Heliopolis district. I want to take into account the safety, life quality, and involvement in the social life. As a matter of fact, I would like to discover more than an expatriate district but I want to feel good at my place. At last, does anyone know how to contribute and how much does cost the retirement in France and Life cover insurance from Egypt ? Thank you very much, Best regards, Maxime
