Italy: Dual Citizen-Residency:

I can't find my notes I made on this. I am a dual citizen and will be living and working in Italy for 4 1/2 months. What do I do to change from AIRE citizen to living in Italy resident? Even if just for this amount of time I need to make changes right? THANKS.

Italy: staying in Italy less than 3 months:

Then what does an AIRE registered dual citizen do? I am not a foreigner? I will not be in a hotel. I do not have a lease.

Thanks for posting this!

Italy: VPN:

When I've been in Italy I have not been able to access some US websites that I need for work/tax purposes. Would a VPN help me with this problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated since I have a lengthy trip coming up and need to access some NC state sites. Thanks.

Italy: AIRE change?:

I am a dual citizen living in the US. I will be in Italy for 4 1/2 months working early next year. What do I need to do concerning AIRE? I will be returning to US after traveling in Eastern Europe when I finish working. Thanks.

Italy: Bank Account:

I am a dual citizen and will be working short term in Italy (about 4 months). What type of bank account will I be able to set up so that I can deposit my pay? Are paychecks usually direct deposit instead of paychecks? Thanks!

Just saw this. Thanks so much!

Italy: Credit Cards with new chip:

I used mine but just as a regular card since I didn't enter the pin when I purchased. Now both of my credit cards are chip and pin so I'll have to see what happens on this trip.

Italy: Driver license in Italy:

What is a link for the online sample test?

Italy: Expat Wanting to Move to Italy and teach English:

If you do a search for TEFL you will find information on teaching english as a foreign language. Also check requirements to teach at American schools in Italy since you have a journalism degree. Good luck.
