Mexico: Need to move to Mexico:
I was always told to not to make any decisions that can alter my life in the major ways when I am under stress. And yes, that is true. I came through such times when my late husband has passed away 20 yrs. ago, after 38 yrs. of marriage. People then all the sudden want all my belonging for next to nothing. But, I, did get some good people who mentored me those days and said to me, you need all the things you have, give nothing away to no one. And they helped me to take a stand against those who were going to take advantage of me. Look for places where you meet people like your self who have been through the same kinds of situations. After finding some one who seems in your opinion sincere ask for meetings and try to cultivate a friendship. This will help you to regain your clarity. Many can give you some tips but they really have no idea when is like on this site of your actual life. And you need to be strong and clear minded to be able to deal with all what is taking to make arrangements for Mexico. It takes financial considerations, papers to fill, to arrive to the day of departure. Even then there be responsibilities to deal with and very carefully because if you do not speak Spanish it can get very confusing and frustrating. Also, you have pets to consider that is a big task to deal with. So, good luck to you. I wish that you find a peace that will take you in a new life to Mexico.
Mexico: Medical question:
I am hearing many things from all over the world. In my opinion the health care system is globalized. It is sad but true. My husband is Mexican and his sister waited six months to take out a growth from her face in Mexico. It is hard to get care everywhere on the world. I do not know why. Is it the price of the workers, or the building, or equipment's, or medicine plus greed. Or are there just to many of us who promote the madness in the market because of the many who seeks it. Is it demands driven?
May be.
Mexico: Earth:
Life is wonderful. And it is full of wonders. So, You need to get busy and look at life and pick up where you think it is the wonder for you.
Life is full of mystery. Touch your thoughts and let them fly to bring you the answer for what you are seeking in life. Life it self will find it for you butt you have to be with it with what you want. Need to put your energy into it. Earth. May be a place of growers would be a good job for you. Owning things is not easy. You are depending on some one else when you own something.
I know it. I own a small 4 unit building. It was empty for 2.5 yr. until finally I got some one to take it. I had to pay all the bills. It was stressful. We are interlocked to each other. We can not do nothing with out each other. Basically we are bartering with each other. God serves us, and we are to serve all His creations. Think, life, life, and have a new hat and start new for your self. The wonders of the world are waiting for you. Take charge and find it. The pot of gold is right under your feet.
Mexico: Health Ins:
I am 79 years of age. I do need a full coverage because in Canada the health care system is social and when one becomes a non resident one can not use the health care system. To reinstate one has to come into the Canada , make an applications and wait three months before they even look at any one.
So, I am now feeling the need to get a health insurance resolved before I do any kinds of paper work.
I need to get some real information on how to go about to get insurance that will cover me for all things for a reasonable fees and with non deductibles, and to cover on the spot not being reimbursed for the cost. So, I, think it is important to get the real facts on the health care side. I thought in Mexico the health care was real low cost. Now, I am hearing even 200 per month, that a lot in Mexico.
And as I am turning into my 80th, year in October I do not know if they even consider me. My husband is Mexican. He is a dual citizen, but he is 73, yrs. of age, I believe that he should be able to get Mexican insurance , which I think some quotes were on it like
400 dollar a year, not a months.
It would be great if some one knows something about my concerns and writes about it. I will be keeping a watch on the site.
Good luck with your move to Mexico.
Mexico: I'm totally lost:
Hello. Yes, I can see what you are talking about. Your daughter is married to a Mexican. Because he can not come to the US, she needs to go to him. I think that if she goes over to Mexico and be with husband on a tourists visa only and gets her marriage validated, then she might be allowed to stay there in Mexico, and there is a trial period of two years in the case like marriage, to then given a permanent residency. I did hear of this, because my husband is Mexican, we live in Canada, but, if I, want to go to Mexico I need to validate my marriage to be recognized in Mexico as his wife.
I think you have to look after your daughter to be joined with husband. Then after that, they might be able to sponsor you as an in law, which that I am not sure of.
So, it is a one thing at the time to take care of of the most urgent thing. That is your daughter to join her husband as soon as possible.
The rest later on to be one by one again to be looked at for the best options. Mexico is not a welfare country. Money is tight in Mexico for everyone. Things cost the same as in the Us, or Canada, but they make only one tent of what we make. So, do not make hasty decisions. More over, also, you be liable in some ways, to the Us.for taxation. That I do know for the fact
because when I as being becoming a run residents from Canada to move any where in the world, there is a so called "departure tax" and it is 25% of all that is coming to me from any sources from Canadian investments of pensions.
So, think before you get your self's into ongoing problems. Dreams are nice, but they fade on the morning. You need to take one at the times, and make a plan to follow up and stay with it no matter how long it will take, if it is your desire. Good luck to you and May God bless you and give you wisdom and keep you save from adversity of your own making.
Mexico: Rights of English mother:
When we are in love, we do not thing negative things. Love if perfect like God. I am married to a Mexican.
He lives of me and take money for any help he gave me in the house. I mean like he on the same day asks to go to the store and he make me pay for something for him. I am married 17 yrs. , I am old.
So, I , am not going to break up this marriage. And yes, he also have been stepping out with dinners with others young ones, and never takes me any where.
So, this is what Mexican men are like in many cases. They use the wife to have a nice life for them self's. But, yes, I think you are not married to him, but who pays the rent and the food bills and utilities.
If he does, then he is supporting you and family and he have rights.
I did hear if he does not support the family then he does not have the rights. But, I am not sure, because
when I got married after been widowed, I was already 62 yrs. and he then was 56 . I am living in Canada. Thinking to go to Mexico.
But, I , married in Canada this is not recognized in Mexico, and I am not going to validate my marriage to him. I will be going like a single person. Otherwise the home I will purchase, needs to be under his name as a head of the family n o matter who paid for it. And one day
he could put me out on to the street, when he see a nice young mamazita. I own here in Canada the property that we are living in alone, It is from my first marriage.
Still on my last husbands name is to date. May you be very careful because he could get very angry and you could get hurt. Sending
you blessings and God's wisdom.
Mexico: Best City For Me?:

It is a beautiful city and is not expensive, only one hour to Toronto ..And we are getting an all day GO train just next door from my house the stations being under constructions. We have 32 waterfalls in Hamilton. We have lots of green areas. We are on the Bay . Welcome to Hamilton. The people here are friendly,
Maria Rodriguez
Mexico: And so it begins...:
Great advice for do not take all your belongings.
They are useless there due to the climate. And it is a lot of paper work with several copies and itemizing it and it still could cause problems. And it cost so much to ship and can take some times and problems at arrival. Yes, rent until you settle and feel that you find what you wanted. If not keep on looking and experiencing until you find it. Houses are hard to sell everywhere. But, I, think in Mexico it is the hardest. Also, one must be aware that sometimes peoples title are on the house whom are already dead and was not transferred because there is also I think they charge more tax if it so.
So, one need to be very careful purchasing a home. There are different things to be looked at and it is like every where else laws are complicated. Mexico may seems free but they have laws. And they are some what similar in some ways to Canadian laws as well.
They have income taxes, They also have taxes if one rents out the dwelling for gain at the time when is sold. So, get informed from proper authorities. And good luck.
Mexico: Its the Pollution!:
Hello. My daughter she lives in California and she and whole family was very sick for a whole week.
She also took antibiotics.
It gets carried with people who travel from place to place.
Mexico: Choosing a place to relocate:
Wishing you a happy stay in Mexico.
Learning a language takes time. When you dont speak other then English it takes patients and and open mind to say the words incorrect, but to say them. The people will help you out by sing language or simulating or showing them some sort of resemblance of the words. And you all have a smile on your face. It will be mutual benefit for the both parties.
So, good luck. Let no one and nothing hold you back or discourage you. Be strong in the knowledge that you are going to make it and it will be good, but it will take some times. Be patient.
It will pay off. Disregards what does not suit your project to be made whole.
