Malaysia: Driver from KL to Terengganu?:
Are you serious? You are already in KL but you don't have the nous to find a local driver and have to search in an expat forum?! My God, how do people like you ever even get overseas?!
Malaysia: MES School: Good Riddance Esther Tan!:
Some good news for all involved at MES School Malacca! Esther Tan, the stuck-up, under-qualified, brash and uncouth former principal has finally left the school! You should know Esther, that not a single single student at MES has the slightest gram of respect for you. You showed no empathy or love to them during your tenure at MES and nor were you willing to listen to the many complaints from their parents. I pity the school which is unfortunate enough to grant you next assignment. With luck your unfortunate reputation will precede you and you will never again be given a position in children's education. Good riddance to you!

Malaysia: Malacca Expatriate School:
For those considering placing their children in this school, you should think again. This school's major goal is to make money. The management don't care about the kids, but some of the teachers do. The standard of teaching varies according to the teacher involved. You should know that the the school cook (What! OMG!) is a predatory lesbian who propositioned my wife on numerous occasions whilst I was out of town. If you are looking for a decent and respectable expat school in Malacca or Malaysia then I wish you the very best of luck! I very much doubt that you will find one...
Malaysia: Malacca Expatriate School (MES), Malacca, Malaysia:
Parents be aware, the school has moved to new premises and it is now even worse than it was before! The primary and secondary schools are now located in the same building, 19Km away from the school's original location and 6Km out of Malacca town. The secondary 'Principal' is a female from Scotland, whose total arrogance and authoritarian attitude is equalled only by her apparent stupidity. She has no previous experience as a school principal and she has absolutely no idea of how to deal with kids. There are very few facilities available in the school and the standard of education has decreased significantly. School fees are overpriced and no satisfactory interface exists between parents, principals and teachers. To the best of my knowledge, all the parents of european / american students (including myself) have now removed their children from the school. The majority of the students are local children plus a very few children from Korea and India. The school cannot therefore claim to be truly 'international'. Beware! This school is total mess.
Malaysia: Working and living in Seremban:
Not much for western expats in Seremban I'm afraid. Very few expats there and not even a decent hotel. You need to research further before you consider moving there.
