Hello All, I am need to know of the referenced. I can be a real estate agent and/or work in banking there hopefully. Please give me anything you possibly know concerning costs, etc. to move to The Republic. I've already visited Punta Cana once and loved the island. How is the government and are they ok with Americans?

Belize: Moving Companies(Cost of Moving versus Buying New/Used Furniture-Auto):

I am needing the same information as the other person interested in moving to Belize concerning cost of Auto's. Also, should I sell everything here in Dallas and buy new or used furniture there in Belize? I read somewhere that our Dollar is 2 Belizian Dollars. Is this correct? If anyone on the expat communications is a Real Estate Agent, I would really like to speak with you and communicate. I feel I should rent first but a good agent can show me property over the web. I appreciate any and all the help that can be sent my way.

Merry Xmas Johndevewrteuil and all expats! John do you happen to know the web addresses for the country of Belize and the exact address to the US Embassy in Belize? I would appreciate it. I googled Canon once & got a site that was hackers. They answered stating that they were a company that worked for Canon. I am very glad that I didn't let them remote into my computer. This is why I am asking for exact addresses. I'd appreciate it.

I am needing to know if Belize has guidelines or their own certification licensing laws to be an agent to rent and sell property. Or, do they accept US Certification/License in Belize.
