Switzerland: Building a house in Vaud:

We have been trying to build a house in Vaud for some time in advance of moving there. We have bought a plot of land and obtained planning permission but the prices to build are in excess of our budget, and indeed belief. We have had the proposed costs independently assessed by a Swiss Architect outside the canton - he has confirmed our fears that the proposed costs are excessive - even for Switzerland! Reluctantly we have decided that we need to change our achitect. I wondered if anyone can recommend one to us that they have used successfully? Ideally they would be english speaking ( although my french is not bad!) and based in the Monteux/Vevey area, although if they were based further afield including Fribourg but willing to assist that would be OK.
