Peru: First Visit to Peru:

Greetings all: My family and I are just now planning our visit next year. My wife is Peruvian by birth. All of her family resides in Arequipa. She hasn't visited since 1972! I have a lot of questions. However, I will keep my initial requests short. When is the "rainy season"? As an avid golfer, I'd like to avoid that. Any suggestions as to where I should play? Would it be easier for us to purchase property in Peru with my wife's Peruvian citizenship? Most importantly, can she expect a hassle coming and going from the U.S. and Peru? Thanks in advance!
