Ecuador: Never Lived Abroad:
Its bad in someplace but not all. You just need to know where you can go. I live in central and south america and I never had a problem with crime. Nothing was ever stolen or anything like that. I been rode at gun point before but that was in the US.
Ecuador: US Dollar Devaluation:
Hi kmarch,
I like your post about the Dollar, I don't think it will go away that fast, there has been some trun around and I thik we have time. But what I did is started a business in Peru with the help of my girlfriend and we deal in Soles. If one curreny takes a dive the other will go up. This maybe what you need to look into once living over sea. Yes, Its a lot of work but I still live in Peru with out worry.
Thank You

Peru: Beach Properties in Northern Peru - Frustration:
Hello,
My name is Carl McDonald aand the problem of finding property in Northern Peru is because no one owns the property. Most what the locals do is put up a fence and call it their own. Few people such as my self own our property after years working it though the legal system they have for the area. The government here is uneducated and just simple do not know how the setup property sale.
