Switzerland: Family Friendly area in/near Zug:

My husband is interviewing for a position in Zug & I am reasearching areas to live. We have 2 girls, 1 & 4, & I would appreciate any advice on neighbourhoods or areas (eg. Baar or Cham) that have english-speaking playgroups, lending libraries, or pre-schools. Do children start (regular) school at age 4? I am Canadian & we have pre-kindgerarten for 4 year olds. Also, if anyone knows of a groundfloor apartment or house with garden for rent that would be helpful. thanks!
