Philippines: Palawan and Puerto Princessa rental Housing:
Hi all ! There is a nice beach though. I have been there only once. A kind of resort with small huts where pinoys go picknicking for the day. I don't know the exact location. On the road to the North, passed the airport you first have a road that leads to the military camp (and 9-holes golf). It's at the end of next road, I think. Alain

Philippines: Renting on Palawan:
Hi all,
I will be retired within 3 years and plan to settle part of the year on Palawan, not too far from Puerto Princesa airport and hospital(and Robinson lol). My dream should obviously be a house on the beach with 2-3 bedrooms. Ideally, I would a hire a couple for taking care of the property also during my absences. So, a hut in the garden should be great. I know it's not easy to find and that's why I start investigating now already. A condo is also a possibility. I don't really have financial problems. Loisbecke, thanks in advance for your advices, but I have been 5 times in the Phils already. :-) Best should probably that I get in touch with an honest real estate agent for a preliminary research of the possible locations. Any advice there ?
Alain
Philippines: Where to settle in the Philippines?:
Probably a topic already explored in this forum, but I couldn't find it. I am belgian, will retire in 5 years from now, it's my third time in the Phils and I am planning to settle here. The big question is where? Very personal of course, but thanks for sharing the pros and cons of your own location. Alain
