What about a couple like us who are retired young and haven't started SS or oension, but have IRA'S that would easily show we are self supported? Does anyone know the calculation to show how much we would have to have for temporary residents visa? Thanks

Panama: US eyeglass presciption ok in Boquete?:

We are moving to Boquete at end of March. We need new glasses and was wondering if it would be less expensive to bring our presciption and have them made there, and if a US Rx would e accepted. Any help appreciated.

Panama: Day to day passport needs:

We're moving to Boquete in late March and was wondering what expats do on a daily basis when they are out and about. Do you take actual passports with you or a copy of the first page with your pic on it? Thanks

Panama: Shipping Large Breed Dog:

Panama: Relocation tours recommended?:

We are doing a customized tour Oscar Pena with www.muchogustopanama.com. We discussed with him what we were interested in seeing, doing, and going and he worked up a very reasonable price. We are coming down in June and will be with him for 8 days and the another week on our own to investigate further any areas that we were really interested in. Things like rental agents, immigration lawyer in Boquete, and some fun things too. We don't speak much Spanish yet so we felt more comfortable doing it this way. Hope this helps.
