Colombia: Border Run Duration:

I did my 180 in 2016, 31 Dec flew to Panama and returned 1 January with a 90 day Visa stamp, you need to go to the Immigration office before your 90 day expires to get 90 more. I do not remember the cost. Also, instead of flying internationally you can use the regional airport to get to a border crossing to save money

My family member recently mailed a small package it took 2 weeks, with the same carrier 7/25 it took 2 months. Alsays use their tracking system even though that also is unreliable. Also same family member used USPS to me in Medellin and the contents of the packsge was switched to an identical product of a different color, Bisarre, I had a yellow ruck sack shipped and received a black one, both BREE products from Germany sent from the USA

Colombia: Retirement in Colombia: the decision-making process:

Arrived here 5 years ago, I have 180 day tourist Visa so I can not stay year round, love Medellin especially Laureles, not touristy or Gringoville, there are several Gringo owned cafes and hang outs but mostly Colombians, the Metro rail is very convenient and in the center of the town, actually 3 metro stops nearby. I come back for 180 days every year and also exclusively use airbnb.com
