Italy: Best Place to Live in Italy:
Standard of living? I live as south as you can get and still be in Italy and our standard of living is something most folks in the USA or U.K. could never afford on their home turf. No comparison of quality of life.
You need to maybe see the country first.
Italy: Language Schools:
That is what it is called

Italy: Marrying an Italian Citizen:
Leave the USA married. Do a quickie , no frills, Vegas wedding( they handle all document certification for a very small fee , and it all arrived at our Italian address before the anticipated date) and avoid all the hassles. Then if you feel the need to spend more money you can have a second ceremony in Italy. I was entitled to Italian citizenship thru my grandfather, had gathered all my documentation, been to Boston consulate but figured if we were planning on getting married and coming to the States to see family anyway it would be so much easier this way . I had been over here in Europe for the past 10 years ( don't ask) and if we had chosen to marry here it would have been much more complicated and time consuming. I easily could have got stuck back in the States for a long period. Instead I received my residence and 2 years later citizenship. It depends on where you apply ( and sometimes who yourItalian spouse knows) but it was by far one of the easiest things I have had to do here.
Italy: Real estate layer in Viterbo province:
A bit of a rant but I meet people all the time who have paid huge sums for totally bogus work. Your best investment is a qualified translator
Italy: Rent-to-Buy:
It's rather new but I have seen it done here. You will need a decent caparra of at least 20% . I have also sold this way.
Italy: Heating Cost of Apartment Using Gas Bombola:
le Marche? Has cold winters, true winter. Electricity is very expensive and most people learn to use most high wattage appliances in the off peak hours. If you mean those heaters that run off bombole - they actually add to the dampness and are usually only good as supplemental heating. I can't stand the smell.
A wood or pellet stove provides the best heat but between the two I will pick wood . We are in southeast Sicily so not nearly as cold as where you are going and we still light the stove even when it is 62. I need a dry home. If electricity goes out so does your pellet stove . The pellet stoves are nice though for less mess and easier control. We have access to good wood ( olive and lemon ) so it makes more sense for us , but even buying -wood is more economical. It also throws a heat nothing can match . think the dual wood or pellet stoves cost more but are really worth it. An open Camino is practically useless, though if you leave the vent open in summer it will actually cool your house .
Italy: Volunteering:
Check out Workaway.info
There are hosts all over Italy.
We used it when we were redoing 2 different houses, with varying degrees of success. We had people from 21- 68 years . Some hosts are looking more for a pet/housesitter and appreciate more mature volunteers . Many are looking for childcare but might not come right out and say it. The ones looking for farm help can be pretty tough . We had neighbors in our old valley who ,if you went there with a few extra kilos, it was gone fast . Sun up, sundown and raw diet only. I think that is the exception though. I know there are a few on the hills of Etna that are herb farms and makers of essential oils. Take a look on the site, there are hundreds
Italy: Rental Agreement For ER Visa:
I understand that many questions posted to this forum are sometimes a bit convoluted, or instead, lacking information needed to give the best reply . I also understand why a lot of people post once then never return- but Why the know it all, bullying tone? This is not what this is supposed to be about.
Why don't all the "experts" list the amount of time here living in Italy,
status ( resident, citizen, type of visa)
and their personal experience?
Italy: ER Visa Denial Resolutions:
This does not exist in Italia
Italy: staying in Italy less than 3 months:
More likely the potential landlord does not want to declare the income. Do everything and anything with a REGISTERED contract only.
