Australia: residency?:
hi there we too r trying to cross the pond, the best way we have found is sponsorship via a company this restricts you for two years however after that you may apply apply for citizenship.Do a search on google and look for a migration agent and just ask them a few questions, they wont charge you.
hope this helps!

Australia: Job offer & cost of living?:
Hi, my wife has been offered a sponsorship in Perth, this is great but the salary drop is a lot about 50%! We really want to make the move but are looking for advice. We live in a 4 bed detached here in sunny Manchester and have two bmw's, but we realise £££££ is not everything we have 2 young girls and want to make a better life for them! But can you advise on the earnings needed to have a nice house, two cars etc? What is the average earnings for a teacher, policeman? Then we can at least make a comparison before we make a decision .... your help would be much appreciated!!!
Many thanks Paul

Australia: sponsorship in australia with a view to emigrate:
hi we want to cross the big pond, we failed the points test due to our occupations not being a "trade". However my wife now has had interest from a couple of companies via sponsorship, she is a regional manager for a recruitment co. I own my own co and was formerly a manager for the equivelent of Bunnings DIY. We ideally want to relocate to Perth where we have family, has anyone done this? If she is sponsored what does that entail? Will I be able to work freely? The more assistance the better!!!!!!!!!!! .....wait for your welcome advise and assistance!
United States: emigrating to US or australia:
Hi all, we are a couple in our late 30's, with 2 kids 9 & 3. We have our own company in the UK and my wife is a regional manager with a recruitment company. I have a degree and 10 years FMCG blue chip retail management experience. She has uncles in Aus who went over 25 years ago! As it stands we keep hitting brick walls and peole who want $$$$$ / ££££££ up front with no concrete promises any advice would be most welcome even if its just to share your experiences... at least then I might get to watch TV as she is addicted to these "relocation" programmes we have in the UK!
United States: Brit wants to come to the USA:
