There are no colleges or universities in Bermuda.
In order to live there, you need a work permit. They are hard to get and there is a lot of red tape.
Bermuda is a very expensive island and has some social issues. Expats are not always welcomed. I taught there for 2 years. It was extremely challenging.

Make sure you bring lots of money with you for rent and setting up costs.
Bermuda is not one of the most welcoming countries and that is an understatement.
You need a thick skin to survive here.

This is a very small island with a unique, somewhat dysfunctional culture.
You need to be very sure of the job, have saved lots of money before you come,(rent will be astronomical, utility payments will require hundreds of dollars extra because you are an expat, and food costs the earth).
It is a tiny place and you may see him a lot. People love to gossip here and there are many social issues.
It is beautiful and there is no income tax. I lived here for two years and couldn't wait to return to Canada.

I taught in the public school system there. It is a world away from the Canadian system from the cultural standpoint.
Make sure you do lots of research. Visit some schools.

Bermuda is full of Canadian accountants. Make sure you have lots of info about your job. It needs to be secure and you need a work permit before you arrive.
Bermuda is an extremely expensive place to live and sometimes living on one salary there is tough.
Go and visit first. Just remember that the way that you are treated as a visitor is very far from the way that you will be treated as an expat living there. There are lots of challenges and a thick is required.

Bring lots of cash and purchase second hand items such as furniture and appliance at house sales. They are prevalent.

Bermuda: House sitting needed in bermuda:
House sitting is a great idea. I did it for two years. However, it's hard to find house sits when you are new to the island.
You may want to rent a room first. Salt Kettle hotels has fairly low rates ( for Bermuda).
My husband was a nurse there. Just be prepared that life will be very different and full of challenges there.
