Argentina: Mendoza-locate ex-pats and find room for rent:

Hi. I am from the U.S. and will be moving to Mendoza on August 18th. How do I find out if there are ex-pats in Mendoza. Also I would like to rent a room in someone-s house or find some other budget living accomodations. What is the best way to do this? Do people advertise in newspapers or are there websites for room rentals?
