Kuwait: Relocating to Kuwait:

Me and my family are getting ready to do the same thing. My husband will be going over ahead of us. What ages are your children? I have two boys 7 and 10. Does your employer supply housing and auto? MY HUSBAND IS GETTING READY TO START WORKING FOR A GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR AT FT. ARIFJAN KUWAIT. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM OTHER FAMILIES THAT ARE OVER THERE NOW. HOW THEY LIKE THE SCHOOLS. I HAVE 7 AND 10 YEAR OLD BOYS. ARE THERE ANY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS AT THE SCHOOLS OR MAYBE NANNIES. IM CURIOUS ABOUT THE PROCESS AND IF ANYONE THERE WOULD ADVISE ANOTHER FAMILY TO GO THROUGH WITH IT. Kuwait: Costs in Kuwait:

My husband is also getting ready to start work in Kuwait. He will be working at Ft Arifjan for a government contractor. I am trying to make the decision whether to go with or stay. We have two boys 7 & 10. His housing and transportation will be taken care of unless we go. I would like to hear from others that have gone over with families to see what the process is like and how the housing situation is. I think the experience would be worth it but it is a very hard decision especially when you have children and would be giving up a job of your own. Also we probably wouldnt be arriving until late September and I wondered how the schools handled late arrivals and if they had programs for learning disabilities. Thanks for the input.
