Kuwait: Living in Ahmadi-?'s:

Kathy, I arrived here just over a week ago to join my husband (who works for KOC and has been here since September). We are currently living in Mahboula in a furnished 3 bed apartment overlooking the gulf until we find our feet and decide where we want to live more permanently. Life here so far is fine, although everything takes an adjustment. Since I'm new here I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but I'll be happy to answer what questions I can as you go through the wonderful joys of relocation! Kuwait: American School of Kuwait vs AIS:

First and foremost, thank goodness for this site, and thanks in advance for any and all replies to this, the first of tons of stupid questions I'll have over the next few weeks! My husband has just accepted a permanent position in Kuwait (working in Ahmadi?) and will be leaving in a few weeks. I and our two daughters (13 & 15) will follow once he gets his res. permit etc. Does anyone have any idea which of the above schools would be best to send our girls to, both education-wise and socially? Or, if there are any others we should be considering? Thanks!
