Guatemala: Shipping possiblities:

Hello, We are thinking about relocating to Guatemala City. We are a family of four with two small daughters. We have been to Guate before but only as tourists. Have a couple questions and hope someone can help us. We currently live in Houston and wonder how convenient or necessary it is to ship our belongings from here. Is shipping from the US affordable? Is it convenient (because of customs or legal issues)? Is there different options? How do prices of housewares compare to the US? Please help! AnaIsabel
