Scotland: Moving to Aberdeen:

My husband was offered a job in Aberdeen and we are relocating there pretty quickly. I need any info possible on schools for my 11 year old daughter whom I presently homeschool because the schools where we are located are horrible. Can I continue to homeschool her the rest of the year and then register her for school for grade 7? What are the requirements? Also my 21 year old daughter is coming with us and hopes to finish her college there. What universities do you recommend and any info to help her would be appreciated. I am so looking forward to this move. I have always dreamed of living in Scotland! And anything else you can offer to help me would be appreciated as I am sure there are a million questions I have forgotten to ask. Thanks to all who respond.
