Kenya: 4wd for a spider biologist:

I am moving to Kenya for 10 months to study arachnids for my Master's. I will travel all over southern Kenya and spend a good deal of time in Nairobi working with the Museum. I'm going to need a 4wd vehicle, that will be my traveling lab. I will try to sell it when I leave. I will arrive neext September but want to start researching this aspect now. Any ideas? I guess I'm looking for price ranges. I'm a young woman and prefer to have my own transportation rather than rely on others. I spent time in Kenya in 2003 and loved it and am looking forward to my researchand outreach with Kenyan schoolchildren. Anything will help! Asante!
