Mexico: I figured I was on the ball...:

Come to Lake Chapala, haven't seen that here. But I am new here. So far I have been treated very well since arriving. My Mexican landlord told me there are only two kinds of people here. Very good ones and very bad ones. You just have to know how to pick them. Also prices are cheaper in Chapala than Baja.

Mexico: Don't Retire in Mexico:

I think you are just having fun stirring up the pot. Really, you take the cake of unearned credit and arrogance! One of the reasons I am in Mexico and not NOTB. Had enough. You are not an expat anymore, nor planning to be, so why are you on here at all? Peddle your crap somewhere else.

Mexico: Moviestar Cell Phones Lake Chapala:

I have been told by a Mexican National that Moviestar has a good cell service that allows you to call Canada and the U.S. with no extra fees. Does anyone have any experience with this company or knowledge of their service and plans? All replies welcome and thanks.

Mexico: Getting and Sending Email in Mexico:

I will be arriving in Chapala in a few months to live. Is there anything I need to know before I get there that I need to do or install in my laptop in order to get up quickly? I will be renting an apartment temporarily that provides internet. I am currently using 'outlook' but have read that it is not good to use, but to use a web browser for email instead. I heard of Tunnel Bear, software I can install to facilitate the email process. Any advice on what software or program to use will be appreciated. I want to avoid long delays in getting email when I get there. Thanks.

Mexico: Canning supplies:

Ditto, why can? With the exception of Pickles! You can not buy pickles in Mexico that taste like home made pickles.

Mexico: 10 year Visitor Visa Through Family:

If you check Yucalandia.com you will find it is for family, not business.
