Ukraine: My Woman In Nikolaev:

Damn russo, you really should be a romance novel writer. I think you missed your calling.

Ukraine: Attack:

Here are my thoughts when read this. Crime of passion? Why wait until the ex girlfriend and new boyfriend are gone and attack the mother. Doesn't make sense. Not what in would do. Just because you use a knife here doesn't mean it's a crime of passion. Guns are hard to come by unless your police or mafia. It's my belief that this is a robbery gone bad. Criminals here use knives because they don't have antrying else. Just my 2 cents

Ukraine: Ukraine Hryvnia:

28.40 today on the street. People here worried about Trump being president.

Ukraine: Just Saying !!!:

This is why the IMBRA law was made to vet these dudes who have had domestic violence in their past, etc. Remember the man from Seattle that went kasikstan I think. Brought a beautiful blonde back. A few years later she left him and he killed her. It went national on 60 minutes or something like that. But the IMBRA laws came about because of it. But I'm sure people slip threw the cracks.

Ukraine: Dating agencies/websites work. Or not?:

Didn't find mine on one. I know dating sites do work, but it's very small percentage. But the ones I know that did find their girl on a dating site are very happy.

Ukraine: Pro-Russian Sentiment:

From what I gather which is very limited, odessa is mostly pro russian. There is much talk about putin annexing the southern half of ukraine from mariople, kherson through nikolaev to odessa. My wife and her family talk about moving to lviv if this happens. That part of ukraine will always be pro ukraine.

Ukraine: WTF:

This forum is dead. If you all don't start talking, I'm gonna invite Michael back.....lmao????

Ukraine: Taxes for Expats:

I wonder if the definition of a dependent is the same as in the US. And how could the IRS prove your wife and family are, or are not dependents without a ssn. I know you all.know what I'm thinking here. But I know the IRS there has got to be a truck load of documents you'll have to send in proving a dependent.

Ukraine: International Shiping of Car:

Yes, I believe that would work. But of course legally the car would be hers and not yours. This doesn't work for me though. My wife is a russian national with a ukrainian permanent resident permit also.

Ukraine: Odessa trip:

Yesterday was my brother in laws girlfriends birthday. She wanted to go to Riviera mall in fontanka. Since they don't have a car, my wife and I to them. Went to the mall and while my wife and tanya shopped, Vladimir, my wife's brother, went and rode the go karts in the parking lot until it started to rain. Mall.was virtually empty so it was good. After my wife dropped a few ben Franklins, we left for city center. Again, the girls more shopping but I did get draged into the DKNY shop where my wife attempted to get me to try on some gay white t shirt, or footbolka as they say in russian. Meanwhile, Vladimir and I went and found a place to have a beer. Then the girls showed up and we went to a nice restaurant called," city garden". After this it was off to Arcadia beach. The reason I am telling all this is because though I have been to odessa many times, it has only been to the outskirts to 7km to buy clothes for my wife's shop. I have never experienced odessa like this. It is very much different than nikolaev. Nikolaev feels like living on a military base. It is very sterile and nothing. Nikolaev very much wears on me.mentally as there is nothing to really stimulate you mentally. Maybe it's just me. But odessa is a modern international city and it feels good and alive to be there. I told my wife that we need to move to odessa. There is nothing in nikolaev, but odessa has everything that an American city has. Maybe not alot of it, but I think you could find at least some. For those of you that come from a very busy city in america with a night life and plenty to do, nikolaev may not be for you. I think you would be much happier in a bigger city like odessa, kiev, lviv. Just my opinion based on my needs and wants. In America, I lived in new York, Las Vegas, Dallas, San Diego and Atlanta. So there is the point of view I am coming from. Have a good day!
