Nicaragua: relocation evaluation:

a Good place for them will be at Granada, san juan del sur is more for the adventure? Granada has a big EXpat community with lots of things to do, My parents are in a similar situation. But thanks God I have a House in Diriomo which is not far away from granada only 6km. I am a Nicaraguan-US citizen. By birth Nica; adopted the US citizenship after 35 years living in the US. My dad is kidney disease terminal and no more hope for him since it will require a lot of resources (medical) to keep him "in check" in Nica town, So my house is currently for rent and available, in case you are interested; please send me a quick message. Thanks God Bless!!

Nicaragua: Advice:

If you are willing to live without the normal american "food" like cereal, fruits; pankakes; Fries;Burger etc. with 50 dollars a week (does not include rent), you can make it!! I m not sure what you mean about little money? Make sure you have enough to live in a decent place. Good Luck

Nicaragua: Esteli Visit:

Hello professor, Esteli has Nice whether but also Crime rate its relatively high; Not many expats as much as in Granada, or San Juan del Sur. Also, not many places to visit as you do in the the Pacific Coast. If you have a few extra bucks I will consider Jinotepe, Or Granada. Good Luck!!

Nicaragua: Rights for renters:

Pay your final month of rent; pack your stuff and move to Granada; there is a bigger EXPAT community there with more resources and places where you can get the correct advice, you have more options. Good Luck!!

Nicaragua: Family of4 and all the animals wanting to relocate from Canada to Nicaragua:

Yes indeed what you've said is true, but isn't this the reason behind moving out of the United States. You will confront adversity but is up to you to be courageous to find the "work arounds" Or just simply stay in the US. Electricity is pricy" so that is why AC is not a standard. You can get by with ceiling fans etc. Its not that Bad!!

Nicaragua: reloating from U.S:

Sorry to hear about your lost; finding help its easy, finding good help is hard. Especially when moving to another country. When are you planning to move? I mean me and my wife could help. We have a house 6km away from Granada. We could help you.

Nicaragua: Granada:

Well, it all depends on your eating habits. IF youre the kind of person that eats lots off American Food then it means you will need to buy lots of imported groceries. (expensive) Otherwise you should be Ok!!
