We are coming to look at property in the Jinotepe,Maysa,Carazo,San Marcos areas in Sept.2015 Any info on crime water,elect. shortages ect. We are wanting to move from Costa Rica .We have a 13 yr.son and he will be home schooled.We are looking for a nice lot from 1 acre to 3 to build our home.We are retired and hope to get into some kind of volunteer work once settled.

Majicjack. Seems you are in the know in NIC. We are coming to view properties there next month and need to be near a private school for our 13 yr. old boy.What would you recommend as a good starting point? We live in Costa Rica now but want a change we are not new to rip off artists and the like so we are not entirely green . any help would be appreciated.
