South Africa: Training and development roles in SA:

My boyfriend is South African and after 3 years together in London we are considering moving to SA, either JHB (where he is from) or CT (as we consider this may be an easier place for me to live). I work in the learning and development (training) field in the UK and am keen to remain in this area, but searches on the web are not promising re: the opportunities in this field in SA. I have worked to date in the training departments of large firms rather than as a freelance trainer or for a training company. Can anyone please advise to what extent this a well-developed profession in SA? And if possible give an indictation of what the opportunities for employment might be - either in CT or in JHB?
