Anyone know of a reputable company that's not afraid to install windows at Mirador San Jose? (near Puerto Cayo). We're building a house and would like another quote.

Ecuador: Mirador San Jose:

I'm usually am a voyeur to this site because it is sometimes skewed but felt obligated to chime in since I know something about MSJ. My husband and I are currently building a house there but we have visited the neighborhood in person. If people are bored, it is because only about 45 homes have been built so far. 1500 will be there when it is done in 5 years. We're looking forward to working and living in a neighborhood with fiber optic cable and the amenities that will keep us fit and busy, like a tennis court, track, pool, restaurant, etc. *I don't work for them.

Ecuador: Shipping an auto:

I'm applying for a Resident Visa since I've purchased property and am building a home. I was told that after applying for the Visa, I can ship my auto with my container. Another person told me that I can't bring my auto. Have things changed again? Which one is right? Does anyone know for certain? I'm coming from the U.S. Thank you.

Global Expat Forum: Shipping an auto:

I am applying for my Resident Visa in a few months. I wish to ship a container with my auto but was informed by one company that I CAN ship my auto after I apply for my Visa but another company said that I CANNOT. Which one is right? Has there been a change? Shipping from the U.S. Thank you.
