Nicaragua: First Time Nicaragua Visit:

Hello, I am planning to visit Nicaragua in November/December. I have reservations with Airbnb for several vacations locations where I can relax and explore the country. However, I am planning to retire in five years and also using this opportunity to exploring local communities, costs and arrangements for a long term residence. Any advice for safety tips/travel locations/transportation for a single female traveler would be awesome. Thanks
